One of the recent smoothies, that got added to my list is this CELERY SMOOTHIE. Celery is one of the most nutritious vegetables, as it is rich in Vitamins and Minerals, giving us a lot of health benefits. Therefore, make sure to include it in everyday smoothies and also make sure that your family has it too.
Perfect for hot summer days, rich in nutritious and super quick in preparation.
INGREDIENTS:
- 5 stalks of celery
- 2 chopped bananas
- 1 red chopped apple
- 1 cup of water or coconut water or coconut milk
- 1 cup of frozen blackberries
- 1 cup of frozen raspberries
INSTRUCTIONS:
Place all ingredients in your Nutri-bullet or blender and mix until smooth.
For yellow colour – replace berries with 2 carrots and a pinch of turmeric powder, add ice
For green colour – replace berries with a bunch of kale, fresh orange and 2cm of ginger, add ice.
